K-2 will then focus on the importance of Foundational Skills across the K-2 band as well as looking at the reading standards for Literature and Informational Text as a lead into using read alouds as a powerful tool for achieving the goals of the Common Core.
Grades 3-6 will dig more deeply into how to use the BAP lessons in grade level collaboration to launch discussions about instruction aligned with the CCSS. We will also be focusing, for upper grades, on using writing and speaking and listening standards as a place to begin PBL and/or backwards planning.
